Associate Professor of English
Bruce Robbins taught high school English and theater arts in Oregon for 13 years before earning his doctorate in English Education at Indiana University. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses for pre-service and in-service English teachers at Boise State University since 1990, including courses in teaching writing, literature, and grammar. His research interests include teachers’ writing, using drama and filmmaking to teach English, curriculum development, and teacher education. He has been the chief advisor of English teaching majors and coordinator of the English Education program at Boise State for the past twenty years.
