Jill Heney teaches inquiry-based writing courses at Boise State, and, as co-director of the Collaborative for Teaching Writing Online (CTWO), she leads faculty development in digital writing pedagogies. In addition to teaching and researching, she currently serves as the Coordinator for Undergraduate Advising for the Department of English. Her specialties include digital writing pedagogies, first-year composition pedagogies, and the literature of the American West. Jill’s articles and poetry have been featured in several publications, including Nebraska English Journal and Platte Valley Review. She is the co-author of the textbook The Writing Tree: Interactive Lessons for Cultivating a College Essay.
