Open Faculty Positions

The English Department announces tenure-track and lecturer positions during the fall and occasionally the spring, semester. The department is currently reviewing applications for a Lecturer of Linguistics, Fiction/Generalist Lecturer, and a Visiting Professor of Linguistics.

Tenure-Track Positions

Assistant Professor of English Education
The Department of English at Boise State University is seeking an English Education professor, a tenure-stream position at the rank of assistant professor.

The English Education program is committed to excellence in education for students in English language arts classrooms, to respect for diversity and dialogue between learners, to inquiry as a model for apprenticing and mentoring others into communities and into expertise, and to responsible and ethical social action and participation. English education faculty’s research reflects these commitments and informs the work the program does with preservice and experienced teachers, teacher leaders and thinking partners, and communities where teachers work.
