STUDENTS~
Would you like to have a say in who teaches you? Are you interested in assisting the faculty in hiring potential professors? I would definitely suggest taking advantage of attending the lectures the English Department sets up for faculty and students. You are given a form to fill out before the lecture begins and return to Linda Marie Zaerr wherein you score various aspects of the lecturer's presentation--that's all, and I assure you it is quite painless. In addition, a few of the professors have receptions for the speakers, which are always fun to attend. You get the opportunity to meet with potential faculty, schmooze with the present faculty, and your fellow students as well. I believe the fact that the faculty is willing and eager for students to participate in the hiring process can be a valuable asset for students and faculty alike. So, please get involved with this process whenever you happen to hear about it. Help out the faculty choose the right professor for you!
Thanks, all!
