Elizabeth is a jointly-assigned Lecturer, teaching University Foundations courses as well as Introduction to the Humanities and literature surveys. Her path to a full-time teaching position included many interesting incarnations. She was a lab assistant at Hewlett-Packard, a manager of a tribal arts gallery, a registered client associate for an investment firm, as well as being an adjunct here at Boise State University.
She is interested in how literature gives insight into social history, customs, manners and dress. Specific areas of interest include references to clothing and dress in medieval sermon literature and the rhetoric of fashion in aristocratic portraiture. On the creative front, she is currently working on a biographical sketch of her father’s experience as a Vietnam C-130 pilot.
She loves cooking, travel, swimming, hiking and walking for miles.
