Jill Heney teaches inquiry-based writing courses at Boise State, and, as co-director of the Collaborative for Teaching Writing Online (CTWO), she leads faculty development in digital writing pedagogies. Her interests include creative nonfiction, digital writing pedagogies, geospatial humanities, and the literature of the American West. Jill’s articles, creative nonfiction, and poetry have been featured in several publications, including Nebraska English Journal, Platte Valley Review, and Palgrave’s Pivot series. She is co-author, with Stacie Rice, of the textbook The Writing Tree: Interactive Lessons for Cultivating a College Essay.
