I am an associate professor of rhetoric and composition in the English Department at Boise State and a technopragmatist. I teach writing and rhetoric courses and help administer the first-year writing program. My research interests include rhetoric and digital media, cultural studies of technology, writing pedagogy, and writing program administration, to name a few.

I earned my PhD in Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media and my MA in English with a concentration in rhetoric and composition from North Carolina State University. I am a native North Carolinian, and although I miss the Old North State, I have come to love the high-mountain desert.
